RBP (Rolling Big Power) – Big Spender Wheels for Average Joe Budget
RBP is a giant and a SEMA favorite when it comes to trucks and other off-road rides. They manufacture a ton of stuff including, grilles, suspensions, steps, and of course, wheels. Wheels are what they are famous for and truck wheels are what keeps them among the top sellers.
They got their start doing custom builds. They’d trick out trucks, jeeps, and hot muscle cars and then park them along the road in front of their shop to drive traffic. As the business grew, they took the giant leap and invested in a wheel manufacturing setup, and the rest is history. A few years ago, the original owner sold to an automotive holding company called Pilot, and Pilot installed a super-smart, forward-thinking General Manager named Kelleigh Ash.
Born in Ohio, she was (in her own words) “her father’s last holdout for a son” and spent her youth working with her dad in his automotive business. She holds a Master’s and is working on a Ph.D. in automotive engineering and organizational leadership. So, you might think that RBP would be a highly structured corporate organization with that kind of management. Nope.
Kelleigh is still a wrench rat and runs the place like a family organization, albeit a very successful family operation. For example, when it comes time to name a new wheel design, she gathers her designers and build teams; they share a few drinks, listen to rap music, and toss out every name they can think of. In the end, they decide on a moniker, and that’s what goes on the marketing material. She and her teams have a natural feel for what their customers want, and that is their super-power, delivering the goods at a price their customers want.
And that brings us to:

Rolling Big Power made its name, making outlandish rims for big honking pickup trucks. As a result, Americans are buying up trucks faster than any other vehicle model, and RBP wasn’t going to miss out on the feeding frenzy. But there is another segment of hardcore enthusiasts catching fire, and this group has a history of modifying their rides that RBP couldn’t overlook. Jeep owners.
So, RBP set out to create rims specifically for Wranglers and Gladiators.
